"THIS IS THE BEST LIGHT WEIGHT STEAMER/IRON I HAVE EVER HAD. I USE IT EVEY SUNDAY MORNING FOR MY CHURCH CLOTHES AND EVERYDAY CLOTHES, FROM SILKS TO CORDUROY, TO WOOL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. I HAVE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY KIND OF PROBLEM WITH IT YET. LOTS AND LOTS OF STEAM !!!

"I love this iron--and canot believe all the negative reviews! I have arthritis and this is so lightweight it is no problem to lift and move arond. The small plate is wonderful for getting into all the small places, like around shoulders, collars, cuffs, pleats, butotns, zippers, and on children's clothing, etc. No problem with the steam on mine. I love it for getting those wrinkles out that occur as curtains are re-hung from the dryer. This iron is so much better constructed with higher quality materials than small irons I shopped for in stores before I got this several years ago. Go for it, you can always return it, but I think you won't want to!

"I am a dyed in the wool rowenta fan, but this product was terrible! I have 3 Rowenta irons which I really like so I thought this product would be just as good. It was not very hot & the clothes were wet as it spewed fine streams of water along with the steam. I reread the directions because I couldn't believe how bad it was, thinking I was not using it correctly!"

"This 'steamer' does not steam. It doesn't get very hot but the regular Rowenta

"I've had this for 2 or 3 years and it works just fine for me. I was surprised to see all of the negative feedback. I've always thought of this as a touch-up or travel steamer (not a heavy duty professional steamer) and that's how it performs. I use it to steam out pant wrinkles at the hips and behind the knees between dry cleanings and to remove packing creases from items I've received in the mail. A few puffs of the burst of steam gets out pretty much all my wrinkles. I rarely use the iron part. The water tank is small so you need to fill it up a couple of times if you're trying to get out a lot of wrinkles, but that takes 5 seconds and then you're ready to go again because it heats up so quickly. Overall, I'm very pleased with it."

"By the time i used this it was too late to return. buyer beware. bought because rowenta is a well know name but not for this product. it burned up the first time i used it. waste of money."

"I bought this Steam/Iron as a gift for my sister because she irons everything. She is a pastors wife and there cloths must always look pressed and fresh. "No steam. Iron just gets hot no steam came from the holes. Returned!!! I am a quilter and have the craft iron and the professional iron that I simply love but this was a real disappointment."

"I had this steamer -since have thrown it out- it never worked well for me. It didn't get the wrinkles out quickly or easily-?- then I would use the iron part to re-do everything... so I just should of ironed it in the first place I guess- with a bigger size iron also I might add, because this iron was too small. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Try your luck with something else.*"

"I've had this steamer for a little while now and the only reason I gave it an average rating is because the water well is so small that you have to refill it before completing one blouse or shirt, as an example. Overall however, it does remove wrinkles and folds in clothing quite well."

"I don't understand all of the negative reviews, as I've had nothing but great success with my steamer presser. I've had it almost three months now, and haven't had any problems, whatsoever. I read and followed all of the directions, and everything has come out absolutely fine. I've used it on knits, blouses, and trousers so far. When I thought I had surely used up most or all of the water, I checked the receptacle, and voila -- there was still plenty water left. I can plug this in in the morning while getting ready for work, and then in a few minutes, take care of my garment."

"This is the second and last Rowenta product I will buy. Had an iron which ironed beautifully but their was a defect in the automatic shut-off. Couldn't iron more than a minute without it shutting off. Now this item holds little water and can't get any steam out when unless you hold it down. There isn't much steam that way either and you can't steam curtains that way. Not QVC worthy."

"I have had this product over a year. My first one did not let steam out. Returned for another one. It did have steam, but it is hard to get the wrinkles out. I have to sometime go over the garment with the IRON!!! DOUBLE WORK. WISH I HAD WRITTEN A REVIEW BEFORE TO LET OTHERS KNOW!!

"I used this on a t shirt, the results were minimal. On a pair of khaki pants, the wrinkles remained unchanged. I'm returning the item. Not everything Rowenta is good."

"I wish there had been reviews when I bought this. I would never have bought this looking a the high rate of unhappy reviewers. I never could figure out how to get this to give steam, and it's useless for ironing. I've had it collecting dust for a couple of years now, but Q should stop selling this given the poor performance record of this item."
