"I love KitchenAid products and have always been happy with the items. However, I purchased this chopper 2-years ago and have only had the opportunity to use it 3 times. I attempted to use the chopper again today and it does not work due a poor connection between the bowl and the base. When I contacted Kitchenaid I was told it was out of warranty. What a waste of money and a true disappointment in KitchenAid."

"I purchased this chopper and used it about 6 times before it started having problems. It would not work when I pushed the button, then sometimes it would. Finally, after about using it on and off for 14 months, it no longer worked at all. I have never been so disappointed in a brand name product. It is now out in the trash."

"I love this little chopper. I was worried prior to my purchase after reading some of the negative reviews. It works incredibly! I think that some people don't read the directions and run into problems. For those that have had it stop working, I do believe that they are forgetting that this is not a food processor. It is a chopper for small jobs. When used properly, it is a fantastic little gadget that every kitchen should have!!"

"I've had this chopper for approximately 8 months, and used it 4-5 times. It would start, work well, and then stop in the middle of the chopping. We thought it had over heated, although it gave no sign of that. After awhile, it would start again. Yesterday it did not start at all. I tried all the "trouble shooting" advice that came with it. I was fortunate, that it was within the 1 years replacement time, so I will receive a new one. It seem cheaply made and I'm surprised at that with the name of KitchenAid. I hope my next one will work well, but from many of the reviews, I am skeptical."

"First chopper I had to return right away, it never worked. Received second chopper and have had it for about a year. Tried to use it today and this one has died also. I've read other reviews where customers claim theirs stopped working too. Kitchenaid needs to work on this problem. Seems some are good, but others are "lemons" and that's what I have. Too late to return it so it will be going out in the trash. I loved using it but don't know if I'm going to chance buying another."

"I have the large kitchen aid processor and this one.I have to say I use this one alot more becouse it's easier to clean and it does just as good a job as the large model.It's great for making baby food and other small jobs."

"This machine is a"POWERHOUSE", I've had this for years, and I know I can depend on it because its a KitchenAid product, you could by a cheaper product..BUT why? they don't last like KitchenAid does, Been there,Did that,,,,don't waste your time and money...Get a KitchenAid....AND ENJOY it"

"I bought one of these for both myself and my Mom. She wanted another because she told me hers did not work. It turned out she just hadn't put it back together the right way. Now that she did, it still works great. So does mine and we had them several years now. Just follow the instructions and you'll have no problems."

"I have wanted this chopper for so long and right before Christmas I finally ordered it. I didn't use it until last night - more than worth the wait. This is probably one of the more pratical items in my kitchen...It chops so fast and with the one-button pulse, you can chop as fine or coarse as you like - you control it. Great value and with it there is no longer a need to use the 7-cup food processor all the time for smaller jobs."

"this is the second one i purchased. the first one lasted along time, quite a few years, this one last 13 months and broke down, dont know what happened but was very surprised to lose it this soon"

"I received this chooper a few days before christmas and want to say...I Love it. I have owned several items like this in the past and they were so difficult to work with, to assemble and all, that I stopped using them. This was SOOOO easy and does a wonderful job. Thank You QVC!!!!"

"I love this chopper! It's fantastic! The salsa recipe that comes in the little book is absolutely delicious & easy to make. I should have gotten a bigger one, but this one is a great buy & a great product. Every kitchen should have one. Love it!!!!"

"My mother bought this for me as a gift. When it worked, it worked great, but after 3 or 4 uses, it won't turn on anymore. The button that the lid locks into and pushes into when the lid is in place, isn't going in far enough to turn the machine on. I'm bummed that this has failed after such a short time. Now I need to buy another food chopper, but I can guarantee you it won't be another KitchenAid."

"I LOVE IT---I LOVE IT---I LOVE IT---I JUST ORDERED IT FOR MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW---IT IS ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCTS I HAVE EVER PURCHASED---IT CHOPS MY NUTS THE WAY I WANT THEM PLUS ONIONS---CARROTS--CELERY---I MAKE MY OWN DESSERTS AND IT REALLY CHOPS THE NUTS GREAT. I ALSO FIX A VEGETABLE MEAL WITH MY RICE AND IT CHOPS PERFECTLY. TOMATOES FOR MY SALSA IS PERFECT. I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ."
