"If I knew then what I know now. Checked the reviews at a different store and all of them said the same thing. After a couple of uses, the crockery was cracked. Reminded me of a cracked car windshield. Cheaper cookers work better."

"Ok, how many cheapo crock pots hve your purchased ?? STOP and spend the money on this one -- a true beauty. In typical k-aid style, this is a top of the line slow cooker - lots of options, easy to clean and it looks great !! Spend the money - well worth it !!!"

"I bought this last spring & really love it. Our old slow cooker was starting to look a bit shabby. I was concerned because there have been a lot of complaints about newer slower cookers cooking too hot--and drying out food after being left all day due to the newer FDA regulations. I was a bit nervous to spend this much money on a slow cooker--replacing my old one when it worked just fine. But, we've been very pleased with the ease of use--and I trusted the Kitchen Aid name. I really like the feature where you can use the default time or adjust to your own time--then when it reaches the end, it will turn off & just keep your food warm for 4 hours. It also has nice large handles on the side for easy movement. I found the controls super easy to use--when I was first a bit annoyed with myself for buying something so technical. It's really self-explanatory once you read the directions & take a good look at the unit. I highly recommend this slow cooker!"
