"Works just as advertised. Great machine, easy to use, simple yet delicious recipes. I've never had an ice cream maker before so i can't compare the noise to other machines. It's not as loud as a blender but i wouldn't say that its quiet. i was concerned that i'd end up with soupy ice cream but it was done in about 25 minutes and was not soupy at all. It had good consistency."

"While I pull out the Cadillac of ice cream makers the 6qt White Mountain for big family stuff. This little honey works just great for 2 quick quarts.Just enough for movie night for the immediate family. Don't expect a super hard freeze, ripen your ice cream in the freezer if you need it to hold its shape. My family prefers the soft serve style of fresh homemade anyway. I keep the drum frozen all the time and any day is ice cream day. Recommend it."

"This is the best ice cream & sorbet maker that I've ever owned. Do not substitute for any "imitaitons"! It's quiet, attractive & easy to use. If you want your family to enjoy the most natural and delicious Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, this is the one for you!!"

"I have made ice cream in this machine several times and it has always turned out perfectly. I have three children under five years old and they love it. My five year old daughter even helps me make the it. The bowl stays very cold and the machine is pretty quiet. I promise if you get this you will be happy with it.
