Excellent bread - BUT!!!

"We have had this machine since September 2008 and have probably averaged making about 2 loaves a week. Excellent bread results with no complaints until recently. Now it seems every time we make a loaf, the paddle in the bottom comes off during kneading. This is happening more and more often and is now becoming a real pain! For the price of this machine I CERTAINLY expected it to function properly for a lot longer than it has!!!! It's a shame because we really loved the fresh bread."

"This is the second bread machine I have owned. I absolutely love it. The bread is delicious, the crust exactly right. It is very easy to use and I don't think I could find a better machine for the money. I made whole wheat bread in it and it was wonderful. I think whole wheat bread is a good test for any bread machine. Fine grain, tender, and great crust. I highly recommend this machine."

"I am so glad I FINALLY took the leap ... ignored the negative reviews and bought THIS breadmaker! The bread recipes are awesome. I have tried about 15 recipes from the book that comes with it. It is impossible to choose which one is my favorite recipe. My neighbors ALL love the "cinnamon raisin walnut" bread. I made the "dill" bread this evening and was blown away with the flavor .... You will love this breadmaker!! The convection feature makes all the difference in the final product. Go for it !!"

"I was very disappointed with this purchase. I did my research, maybe mine is just defective but I definitely won't buy one again. It didn't even mix the dough properly, my loaf wasn't even edible I had to throw it away after using a recipe straight out of the book. A waste of money on the maker and all the ingredients I had to buy for all the bread I was going to be making."

"I ordered this machine on 7-11-08 and once I received it, I have been making bread like a mad baker ever since, and it comes out great every time. I also made some blueberry jam, and it came out wonderful. I would recommend this machine to anyone that wants to make their own bread."

"This breadmaker is worth it's weight in gold! I love the fact that you can make quick bread (especially the banana nut bread) just like my grandmother used to make. And so much more. I use mine all the time."

"I bought this thinking that it must be a good bread maker for such a high price, but it was not worth the shipping cost. Every time it would start to knead, the bread tub would vibrate loose and bang around in the bread maker. Don't waste your money. I have sent mine back after trying it 4-5 times."
