"Looking to replace a useless breadmaker I looked at every review on all the breadmakers but in the end knew I wanted a smaller one. Many years ago I purchased the Zojirushi rice cooker and while it was expensive, I have never regretted buying it. That put me over the top to get this one and we are extremely happy with the results."

"I LOVE THIS ZO.YES I HAVE ANOTHER BREAD MACHINE,BUT NOT LIKE THIS ONE.YES ITS A TAD EXPENSIVE.BUT NO MATTER IT IS A WONDER.I HAVE MADE TWO PERFECT LOVES SINCE CHRISTMAS.THE PADDLE DID NOT STICK IN THE FINISHED BREAD.THE LOVES WERE PERFECT. "This breadmaker is just perfect for the 1 to 3 person household. The bread bakes evenly; the machine is quiet and it doesn't get too warm even though the instruction manual does warn one. Following the advice given by a reviewer, I used the 2 hour mode and my bread was perfect. I thank the reviewers who recommended King Arthur mixes as they are tasty and the selection is varied. It's also easy to follow the scratch ingredients included in the instruction manual. I'd previously ordered the bread machine that was a recent TSV but found it to be too large and heavy. Upon reading reviews for this machine I decided to return the TSV and order this one instead. Am I ever happy that I did. I've halved bread mixes to get a small loaf as I live alone and this machine makes tasty smaller loaves. The Mini Zo is an excellent product and I highly recommend its purchase."

"I always owned a bread machine through the years. When my nest was emptied, my desire to bake bread was gone. Now a few years down the road and well adjusted to being two again, I decided it was time to venture out into the dough world. This size seemed very appropriate. I have made several loaves already, white, cranberry walnut and raisin. It is a great machine. Small and compact and very easy to use. I recommend it highly. Makes getting use to an "emptied nest" breadable."

"I received this bread machine last week, and I already made whole wheat bread for myself and family. The bread was as soft as store bought, and the taste was even better. I used splenda instead of sugar with perfect results. The machine was so quiet we had to check to make sure it was working, and we live in a townhouse where the kitchen and family room is one space and small. I had a nice machine before, but it was noisey and big. I got this one because I hoped it would be quiet and small enough to leave on the counter. I am totally satisfied. Sometimes it is worth just spending the extra money for better quality."

"My nest is getting smaller and we are now a family of four. Two adults and two kids 7 and 13. Its the perfect size for a meal for us. This machine is a dream. I use it daily. I premix a white/wheat dry mix enough for 5-6 loaves. Sits right next to the coffee pot and uses very little space. Very quiet and worth every penny. I may experiment someday with the other features it has but for now the bread is wonderful. In case anyone out there wants the premix recipe its very easy.... 6 1/2c bread flour, 6 1/2c of whole wheat flour, 2 TBL salt 1/2 c sugar 1/2 c instant nonfat dry milk. Mix all together and store in an airtight container. To make the one pound loaf add in this order: 3/4 c warm water, 1 TBL butter or oil, 2 1/4 c bread mix, make a small well in the top of the bread mix and put 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast. Set the bread machine on quick and in two hours... YUM!"

"Wow, I just love this little ZOE, best workhorse, I have made 3 loaves of bread in one day and have been so pleased everytime with the results. Raisin/cinnamon,
pumperknickel, whole wheat. I have tried all the settings but the Jam..As soon as

"I purchased this breadmaker 1 yr ago, after alot of research. My daughter and I use it for bread, pizza, sweet rolls, pretzels, foccacia bread, etc. We love it. I recommend Betty Crockers Best Bread Machine Cookbook to use with it. It gives you more options and variety. The cookbook has 1lb loaf recipes, and also tells you how to adapt other recipes for the 1lb loaves. It is easy to use, great, size for the counter. I am tempted to buy another one in case my daughter takes mine. I don't want to be without it."

"I received this a week or so ago - and I have used it every other day. I researched it extensively and found nothing but good reviews. I agree with those reviews. It's small size is great on the kitchen counter and, it's great for 1 person, probably 2 or 3. I like that the bread doesn't last so long as it is a smaller loaf. That way, I can bake bread every other day and it's always fresh and wonderful (and good for you!). Also, because it's a smaller loaf, I feel like I can experiment - if I don't like a certain recipe - it's not such a big deal to toss it! Good bread is over $3.00 a loaf - and then it usually has preservatives in it - so I think as many good, healthy, things we can cook ourselves, the better off we are - economically and healthwise! If you are going to get a bread machine - get the best one - it will last longer and the bread will be better. It's so worth it in the long run! I know, I had two prior bread machines that did not hold a candle to this one. It's simply the best!"

"I have never baked bread in my life but this wonderful mini breadmaker made it possible for me to make a "perfect" loaf of bread first time around. I did a lot of reasearch on the interrnet before choosing this brand and I absolutely made the right choice. The loaf size is just right for one or two people and the breadmaker is easy to use. It's been suggested that you spray Pam on the kneading paddle to avoid it getting stuck on the loaf when you are trying to remove the loaf from the baking pan. I decided to heed the advice and actually sprayed Pam (for baking) on the kneading paddle before I started adding ingredients. It worked beautifully because the loaf of bread just slid right out of the pan. The breadmaker is worth every penny. You won't be sorry, so give it a try!"

"This is the fourth bread machine I've owned and it is, by far, the very best ever. The size is perfect for a two-person household, the bread is delicious, the machine footprint is perfect. I was a little concerned about the high price but it is worth every penny. I can't say enough about it....I LOVE IT!!!!!!"

"My husband and I purchased this machine last month and we couldn't be happier. The one pound loaf is just right for the two of us and it makes perfect bread everytime. The left-over bread also makes great french toast, bread pudding and croutons. It is very important to know exactly what is in the bread we are eating. We have just started experimenting with recipes and adding ingredients such as sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Yum!
If you are thinking about this machine, consider this. I read an article online that calculated the purchase of a breadmaker like this one could pay for itself in 6 months to a year depending on the amount of that expensive store bought bread you normally use.

"I received this machine for my September birthday from my husband and have been using it to try different cycles and breads. I LOVE this machine. The loaves come out so nice and I haven't had to throw any away, they always come out perfect. It makes small loaves which is just right for me and my husband. This machine is worth every penny!"

"I have to jump on the bandwagon for this little guy. It is the bomb when it comes to making bread and will blow your mind how easy it is. The only thing I thought was so funny was that mine came with a VCR tape, sorry I haven't owned a VCR for many a moon. But you don't need it (thank goodness). If you are looking for a breadmaker STOP here. YOU WILL LOVE IT 2."

"I have been putting my mini zo through it's paces. I love, love, love this little machine. Lots of different bread recipes included with the machine. All of them I've made have been very good so far. I don't buy loaf bread from the store anymore. You can have a fresh loaf of bread in about 2 hours time. Is there anything better than hot, fresh bread daily? Would defineately recommend this machine. You won't be disappointed."

"This is the greatest little breadmaker!! I LOVE it! It is the perfect size and the bread turns out great every time. I tried the long cycle and the short cycle, and the quick cycle tastes just as good, so that's all I use now. The only recipe that didn't work was the wheat bread. If you want wheat bread, use the honey bread recipe provided, but instead of all bread flour, sub in wheat flour for all but one cup (1-1/3 cup wheat flour and 1 cup bread flour). I also add in flax meal and crushed almonds when the beeping starts. It is very good!!! I hope this little machine lasts a long time. I don't ever want to be without it!"

"This is the best breadmaker available now. Every loaf comes out perfect: small, cute and delicious. Just right for a small family with no worries how to store any leftovers. Like the other reviewers, I bought a lot of bread mixes and starters at King Arthur Flour website. They are all wonderful and were delivered immediately. "I sent one breadman maker back because it would bake the crust so hard you couldn't even cut it. I then went to this bread maker thinking that it would be better since it was so much more money. Boy, was I ever wrong. It doesn't mix the flour all the way, the bottom of the crust is hard and dark and not easily cut. Needless to say with the flour not mixed in it has dry flour in the corners and some in the bread which does not taste very good. If I wanted dry flour I would just go to the flour bag and grab a handfull. I tried several different loaves but it went from bad to throw it out upon completion. I'll go back to making my own and kneading it by hand or buy it frozen."
