"We got our White Mountain Electric Ice Cream Maker for a wedding present over 29 years ago and it still works! We enjoyed a lot of great ice cream over the years, including today 7/4/09. Highly recommend!"

"With the 4th of July over, and many batches in the can, I wonder why I waited so long to purchase this. I just kept buying the discount store variety and burning them up. This whips up super creamy ice cream and the motor never even chugs.If you have a big crowd and we always have a big crowd in Utah,you can reuse your cold brine and have a second batch in no time. LOVE IT."

Never Buy Ice Cream Again

"It took my family ten years to wear out our first White Mountain freezer, and we used it constantly. Forget every other ice cream maker product on the market: this one is the REAL DEAL. Makes classic ice cream with the perfect texture every time. And once you use the right amount of ice and salt, there are no failures. You will never buy the frozen blocks of additives in the grocery store again. Plus it is a handsome piece of equipment. You won't regret this purchase. Just remember, this is the larger size. If you are a single or just a couple, you may want the 4 qt.size. But frankly, when I want to make less, I just make half a recipe and use less ice and rock salt. Still the results are always perfect."

"I bought this for my wife to replace on older one that broke. This is the most powerful Ice Cream maker we have ever used. There is no waiting for the motor to stop like most of them do (when the ice cream is ready) With this one you have to time how long to freeze the mix then turn it off and eat or pact the ice cream into a storage container. We have used it several times now and if you follow the direction provide with the unit it makes the best Ice Cream - smooth and very well textured. I would buy one again if this one ever wears out."
