"I also bought this item and it was great until about 2 weeks ago and the lid will not stay shut. I have to put something heavy on it to keep it shut. Sorry I bought it, I can not return it it's been too long to return it."

"I bought the fryer and it seemed okay the first timed I used it with my food tasting great. The major flaw was that the lid would not stay closed. The latch is defected and I had to send it back."
