"I had a Cuisinart toaster and it did not toast evenly, so I thought I would buy a KitchenAid. Well it doesn't toast any better. Not worth the money"

"This toaster seemed perfect...I have KA red appliances and the red toaster was ideal. But then it stopped working correctly. The bagel feature wouldn't turn off - only one side of my toast was properly "toasted" - the other side was white and raw. I live alone and if I used it twice a week - that was a lot. So I barely got 50 toaster cycles from this until it quit working. So this was my first loser in the KA product line."

"I was on the fence about spending so much money on a toaster, but I finally decided to take the plunge and WOW - I couldn't be happier !! I really love the fact that my bagels come out perfect - everytime ! No more burning of the outsides of my bagels. Toast comes out golden and delicious. Very easy to clean, extremely easy to use and I especially enjoy the under storage area for the cord - GREAT idea !!! Thanks Kitchen Aid - LOVE it !!"

"I bought two toasters one KA and another Cu.
The reason is I was looking for a small toaster to fit in a certain spot and the measurements on the KA looked like they might be too tall....not true actually the measurement was off in the writeup.
Anyway I love KA.
The customer service is wonderful on KA butttttt........ this toaster actually had a funny smell when toasting. Since I had bought another brand which also fit in the spot ,had more features and did not smell when toasting we decided to sent back the KA."

"This toaster is exactly what I wanted when I received it for Christmas. The wide slots are great for bagels, english muffins and thick bread. It is so cute in it's compact size and I use it nearly everyday. I highly recommend."

"This is the best toaster. The slots are plenty big enough for bagels, but hold regular bread just fine. The special button for bagels works perfectly. Toast always comes out how you expect - the controls actually work - unlike other models. This is a great toaster. I have bought it as a gift for two other families and they love it too."

"My other, more expensive toaster, suddenly quit working and it wasn't that old. I decided on a KitchenAid because of their reputation. I haven't had any problems with this toaster and it makes great toast and bagels."
