"OK, so this ring arrived in the post today- going on the reviews I read here's my personal take on it- It is DIFFERENT-while it is a rather 'top heavy' peice-that lends to the BEAUTY of it- while the diamonds are only accents- they do give SPARKLE to the ring. The beaded accents actually can be mistaken for diamonds from a distance. Though I can see where some buyers are afraid of the stars and the way they sit on top of the ring-looking at it I can tell this will NOT be a ring that I will be sleeping in, NOR throwing on a sweater on while wearing it-the sterling sides that hold the stars in place do seem to look a bit 'flimsy" The ring does sit HIGH on the finger- it is a BOLD STATEMENT peice and really suggest that this ring needs no company on the hand it sits-any other ring on the hand besides this peice loses the statement. I will be keeping this ring because of the unique style-The faceted onyx is beautiful and for the ladies that are not comfortable with the stars perhaps a talented jeweler could remove the stars- you would still have an outstanding ring for the price."

"I got this ring over a year ago and think that it is the cutest thing ever. I love stars and I love onyx so I HAD to have this ring. And when it arrived I was so excited because it was so much more beautiful in person, but then like others, the silver on the sides and bottom of the band turned dingy and rough, and it won't come clean. I have many pieces of sterling from QVC and this is the only time this has happened. It's highly disapointing."

"I don't understand this. I have bought so much silver jewelry from qvc and never had this happen before. The silver wore off the ring on the sides...only where the fingers on either side of the ring touch it. I can't understand it. I LOVE the ring. It is a statement of who I am. The stars over the black onyx are like the stars in a night sky and I am an amateur astronomer. I want to wear this ring so bad but it looks just awful where this happened. By the time the discoloration happened, it was way past the 30 days to return it. I wore the ring constantly, every day. I never took it off except for cleaning or doing any kind of work where the ring might get damaged. The discolored area is also very dark and rough. It does not even look like silver where the discoloration is. It actually looks like some other kind of cheap metal that had silver plating or something but that can't be because it is genuine sterling. Genuine sterling does not do this. I have a lot of sterling rings and have another I never remove and it is fine. I've had it on for over 4 years. What caused this ring to do this? I do not wear my rings when cleaning; they are always removed so there was no cleaning solution that touched it either. I just wish I knew what caused it and if it can be repaired, I want to replace the ring but I see that size 10 is no longer offered and that is the size I need. This is so heartbreaking and disappointing. I don't know how to fix this ring; how to get that beautiful silver shine back. I tried cleaning it with silver cleaning cloths; to no avail. I can't put it in a silver cleaning solution because of the onyx. I really love this ring and want so badly to either replace it or get it fixed and just don't know how. I see another reviewer had the same thing happen to her....so there must be something wrong with the silver or something. I would feel better if I at least had an explanation of what happened to cause the ring to discolor like that. I wear jewelry that tells people who I am; I don't wear jewelry just because it's pretty; it all has special meaning and this was the perfect ring for me as I love studying the stars. What is wrong with the silver on this ring?"

"This was my first QVC purchase and it is one of my favorite rings. It is beautiful and a way cool ring. My only complaint is that it is a little loose, and being top heavy sometimes makes this a bit irritating, but it doesn't stop me from wearing it. Great price too!"

"This is the most beautiful GENUINE Onyx AND DIAMOND (GENUINE!!!) sterling ring I've ever seen. Stunning stars gracefully rise over the beautifully faceted onyx below. This creates a unique profile, and it sits high off the finger. (It doesn't get in the way) - It's PERFECT!
I've owned if for at least 6 months now. People will ask about it, believe me!
