"I just received 7 of these adorable puzzle boxes. I bought the parrots, butterflies and dogs too even though there wasnt a picture of the dog posted . I love them so much; I just ordered 3 more dogs. I think they are made very well and the detail is great on each. They will make wonderful keepsake gifts for everyone whether male or female. I know my husband and adult sons were impressed with them also. The price is very reasonable especially with the buy more, save more. Of course, I have to keep at least one for myself now too since they are so adorable!"

"I ORDERED ONE= THE CLOWN FISH FOR MY SON, AND SINCE THEY WERE LESS TO BUY MORE, I GOT THE CAT FOR ME. EVERY YEAR I GIVE MY SONS SOME TYPE OF CONTAINER. LIKE LAST YEAR, THE CD BOX WHICH IS SO PRETTY, AND THE BIG PIGGY BANKS. AND THEY ACTUALLY SAVE MONEY. IM SURE HE WILL LOVE THIS BOX. HE CAN PUT IT NEXT TO HIS FISH TANK. AND MY CAT IS PERRRFECT FOR THOSE LITTLE DIAMOND EARRINGS. THANKS QVC"

"My adult son always wants money for Christmas. Two years ago I got the parrot to hold a check. He was so impressed by the parrot, he didn't realize there was a check in it. It still looks good. I hope the quality hasn't gone down as it appears some people have gotten bad ones."

"I ordered 8 of these (cat, fish, frog, and butterfly) for my grandchildren and 1 for myself. When I opened the boxes I was a little disappointed in the size (they are smaller than I expected) but I was happy with the quality. You can tell they are hand crafted and are so unique when compared to things you buy in the department stores. One thing I noticed in the cat and the fish is the inside is large enough to put a jewelry item like a bracelet, charm, ring, etc. I plan to fold up cash and put in the ones for the kids but I think the cat and fish would easily hold a gift card. Will probably order more in the future if the puppies come back in stock. I'd love to see other animals like a horse, a pig, a chicken, and a rooster. Thanks for this product!"

"This was to be a Christmas present, but the hardwood fell right off the box upon opening the box. Very poor workmanship, it was returned the the same day received."

"Just received the Butterfly box, not great packaging and would definately need to be repackaged for any gift giving. I as well, had red lint from the hidden drawer lining all over mine that had to be cleaned. Definately worth the price...but you are getting what you pay for here! Perfect for child / teen gift especially with a little something hidden inside."

"I lifted the wooden box and the bottom fell out. There was red dye smeared all over the inside. It looked like it had never been glued properly. I had trouble getting it back in the shipping box becase the pieces didn't fit. There is no way I could recommend this piece of garbage to anyone."

"I purchased 4 of these (Christmas 08) as gifts for 2 of my daughters and 2 nephews. For the price, the workmanship is very nice. My sister was also impressed. Her boys, then 4 & 7, had fun trying to open the puzzle boxes. It's nice that you can place a small surprise in it as well."

"We have 5 nieces and nephews, & 8 grandchildren, and from my own experience from the purchase of two of these beautiful little keepsake jewelry/trinket boxes last year, I have COME BACK FOR 12 MORE! Mr. Terrico is obviously a gifted hand-craftsman & shows very fine workmanship and personal touch in each one. One can tell they are a labor of love. These little treasures will be keepsakes for our grandchildren for many years to come. Thank you also, Mr. Terrico & QVC, for keeping them within the reach of those of us who are pinching pennies on a fixed income at Christmas. They are worth every penny and more. :)"

"I purchased the Parrot, Tree Frog and Butterfly for my neice and nephews for Christmas 2007 and just recently saw them at their parents house. They were very warped and distorted. The moving parts can no longer move and they are no longer even useful as an attractive decoration. How very embarrasing, as a doting Aunt, to have my gifts seem so cheesy. I have done alot of shopping with QVC and mostly have no problems with my purchases, but this was an extremely disappointing purchase."

"I ordered the cat and absolutely love it!! My box is perfect, the wood is beautiful, has a shine to it and have it proudly displayed on my coffee table. This cat is the exact colors of my Tonkinese cat named Princess. I plan on ordering more of these for gifts in the future. My puzzle box comes apart and fits together so smoothly. My package was well packed and just was so adorable. I really am very impressed with the quality, workmanship and the fact you can hide a special something in it. My husband has even put a few surprises in it for me and that was fun!"

"I had an early Christmas with my 4 grandkids a week ago, they each received a diffterent "critter" from grandma. They all were excited, and the 2 year old boy didn't want to take his from the cardboard box so it was safe and protected!
My father was a wood worker and he couldn't have done better, and this is what inspired me to give these to his great grandchildren.
Each box was well made, and the different woods "painted" them perfectly."

"I ordered two of the Hardwood Frog Puzzle boxes as gifts. It seemed as if they were not finished. I expected the hardwood on all sides and the top but not the bottom. The top was finished, not the sides. I cannot feel good giving these to family and friends. Am sending them back. Sorry QVC, I love everything else that I have ordered. I have been a customer for over 20 years."

"I first ordered the parrot as Christmas gift for my sister. Once I got it and saw the quality, I went back and ordered the tree frog for my brother-in-law. I would have ordered a third for my nephew, but choices were limited. He is not into fishing, has a dog, not a cat, and the butterfly was not going to hack it. If there was a dog, I would have made a third purchase."
