"This is one of the best kitchen purchases I have made in a long time. It works wonderfully for a large family or if you are just frying a couple pieces for yourself! The heat is consistent, even with frying things that are frozen, which was a problem with previous deep fryers I have purchased. You can't go wrong with this one...don't hesitate to buy! FYI I use canola oil when frying and it gives your fried food a light taste and is not "oily" also the hook for the basket allows the food to drain before plating it...have fun with this one :-)"

"To be honest I purchased this fryer in 06, through another online store, BUT, I must say it is one of the best kitchen appliances I own. Believe me, I went through my fair share of flash fryers and not ONE compares to this one. I like EVERY THING DELONGHI. I OWN a Delonghi fryer, espresso machine, blender & 7 qt 1200 watt stand mixer. Delonghi offers the BEST in quality and their customer service is SUPERIOR.
Out of all the items i purchased, my least favorite is the blender. I sent my first blender back because of a mechanical issue and Delonghi gladly sent me a new one. Some items are a little pricey, but in this case, you REALLY DO get what you pay for. YEEEEEEEH DELONGHI!!!!"

I'LL USE ONE FOR FISH AND ONE FOR CHICHKEN, FRYS AND PORKCHOPS. I REALLY LOVE THE FACT THAT WHEN I'M DONE I DON'T HAVE TO EMPTY THE OIL OUT. WHEN IT COOLS OFF I STORE IT AWAY. AND WHEN IT'S TIME TO CLEAN IT, IT IS VERY EASY TO DO.

"I like to wait and write reviews after I have actually had a product for a period of time to test it out properly. I have had this deep fryer for over 2 months now and have used it often. As to be expected, because of the large capacity of oil well it does take a little extra time to heat up. Even when adding frozen items the oil stays heated and remains an even temperature while cooking. Items cook crisp on the outside without becoming soggy because the temperature of oil does not drop during the cooking process. Being able to drain the oil out of the front of the deep fryer without having to remove the whole oil well first is a great plus. That item is especially great for smaller adults like myself. This make cleaning the deep fryer much easier than other deep fryers I have had in the past. As I stated, it is a large deep fryer so it can be used for large families illiminating having to cook batch after batch of items. The stainless steel outsides not only looks good in any kitchen, it also cleans up easily. In my opinion this is as close to a professional deep fryer you could purchase for in home use."

"I bought this Delonghi deep fryer a few days ago it's a excellent fryer I was worried it was going to be too big because in the picture it looks tall but it's just the right size for two people takes up very little counter space and the easy drain works really well just open the door and turn the handle and the oil drains out. Highly recommend."

"First thing was when I got a fryer like this a piece was missing. Called Delonghi and they said parts were not in stock and will take six months. Well it's been a year and the part is still on order. 2nd thing is after 12 uses it came up an error. Delonghi said they would fix it but I would have to send it back at my cost. From other reviews same problem kept coming up. Even though the piece was missing we did use it and it did fry really well, but beware if anything goes wrong cause you might as well throw it away. ALL YOU WILL DO IS WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!"
