"I love this camera, not to complicated, all I do is put it on "auto" everything and I'm good to go...I am not a technical person all I need my camera for is ...basic point and shoot and sports action, like wrestling, basketball and more, that is y I purchased this camera, there is no blurr, the sports pics are great, I did also purchase the 55-300 long range lense so I can take pis from the stands...I love this camera!!!!!"

"I shot a wedding with it and the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and it is blasting fast. I caught every moment. I was a 510 owner and frankly, I would not have been able to get the images that I got with my XS with the 510. In fact, I owned the Olympus E300, E330, E410 and E510 and wasn't really happy with any of them. I will remain true to Canon. I'm really glad I switched brands. For the person who didn't like the color, et al. Learn curves.
PS the wedding couple loved the photos straight from the camera, that's how good they were."

"I have to say....I was very disappointed in the quality of the images I captured with this camera. Most of the images were soft and colors seemed washed out a little. The kit lens is awful and the camera just feels like a toy. My Olympus E-510 took much better photos and quite frankly....is just a better camera. Do't really understand all the hype about Canon DSLRs....BACK TO OLYMPUS I WILL GO!"

"I owned an Olympus 510 DSLR and I got what I paid for, after purchasing the Canon XSI I loved it. the speed and the ease of working the camera. if you are new to the Digital age cameras this is the one for you."

"I purchased this over the holidays, and used it several times. The quaility of the photo is excellent ( way beyond my expectations) and the camera is so easy to use and set up. The camera is just about idiot proof ( ask me, If I can do it anyone can operate this camera). I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an excellent SLR camera"
