"I was really impressed with the user friendly Garmin. I used it to go to places I was already familiar with to test the Garmin GPS accuracy and it was flawless. This is my first GPS unit and I'm pleased with my purchase I also was impressed with QVC's quick delivery,I ordered it on Sunday & received it on Tuesday."

"Best friend you could have on a trip. Lets you known were to turn, what way, how far, and I am still learning about it. Any one can use this right out of the box. This is a great tool to have. Everyone should have one. I could go on, and on telling you about my GARMIN GPS. The best thing I can say is buy, buy, buy. Find out for your self. I would give more then 5 stars, if I could. "I recieved my Garmin for my birthday and it was a great gift I used it right away and I love it. This is a great item for someone who has trouble finding their way around. It tells you how fast you are going ,how much farther you have to go, what time you will arrive at your destination and if ther is any road construction going on where you are headed. I would recomend this for everyone. A truly great item !!!!!!"

"I can not believe how easy this is to use. My dad drives trucks for the United States Post Office and he never likes to get directions from anyone but he was really impressed with this and says he wants one.I will be getting him one for Xmas. Thanks QVC"

"I used one of these and the experience was OUTSTANDING.A friend of mine let me use his and after putting in the destination all i had to do was drive.It tells you exactly where to go and lets you know when you need to make a turn, when to get off or on an exit,etc in plenty of time.
I had never used one before but it is so easy to use.Nice widescreen display makes it easy to type in your destination.I am DEFINITELY getting one of these."

"I recently purchased one of these for my daughter because she is relocating from LasVegas to Austin . Well I drove with her because I did not want her driving by herself. We plugged in the address we were going to and took off. I DID NOT NOTICE ANY FEATURE SAYING FASTEST, SHORTEST OR BACK ROAD DISTANCE. Needless to say we travled 1400 miles on backroads which was terrifying to me cause we had strecthes of 200 miles in the middle of nowhere we went through villages and every small town you can imagine.Well we finally got to where we were going just make sure you notice this feature. Its very handy for her now that she is in an unfamiliar city and its works great in the city ."

"I have been using this for a few weeks and it is everything you all have said it is in these reviews.
I am bad about not reading intructions, but this GPS is user friendly and I just figured it out by using it.
I took a wrong turn the other day [just not concentrating] and this wonderful Garmin said "recalculating" and immediately worked out the new route for me.

"This product is so easy to use; just turn it on, answer a few questions and your off and driving. I just got it in the mail today and I didnt get a chance to open it until 10 PM. Well, I just had to try it out, so I drove by my mother's house, just two miles away. It gave me the directions perfectly (the same way I usually go). On the way home I tried to throw it off and go a different route, but it redirected me each time to put me back on track. The picture and voice are crystal clear. I have found a route to take when we go on vacation in August and saved it to my favorites. This is a must have, try it you will definately like it."

"I'm not afraid to go anywhere any more now that I have my Garmin. I feel so save with the take me home feature no matter where I'm at I'll just hit the house picture and it will take me home. I use to get lost so easy and now I feel safe. My mom is going to purchase one also."

"Bought this for myself as a Christmas present. Have no trouble reading maps but once arrived I would have to ask for directions. No more!! Was very timid about driving in larger cities trying to watch traffic and find exits. Solved!! The voice is easy to understand and "She" gives you plenty of warning on upcoming turns and exits. Construction detours are not a problem as it will recalculate your route quickly. 'Points of interest' screen makes finding food, shopping, lodging and gas easily located. Although I've bought many items from QVC this has to be the best purchase."

"A just bought this item 2 veeks ago. I tried out to go to my friend house. The navigator give me a option to go to my friend what I did not know before. The trip was shorter in time, and shorter in miles too. I think was a good thing to buy this product."

"I purchased this GPS system from another entity and I must say, it is a great buy. The best features of this product are the lighting features when driving at night - there is no glare against the windshield. I use this more than I thought I would and actually depend very heavily on it. My first big trip was driving from CT to Pittsburgh, PA - no issues at all and never lost the satelite contact even when driving in remote areas. Other great features are the automatic rerouting feature. If you make a wrong turn, it automatically adjusts itself saving you the frustration of getting back on track.
The one drawback that I find (and I've had this product for over a year now) is that sometimes, it has a hard time finding satelite contact. When you're in familiar territory, it's no big deal but if you are traveling, it can get frustrating. This is the reason for four stars - otherwise, it's a great tool especially if you are traveling and need to find a place to eat or a hospital. I wouldn't be without it."

"I bought this for my husband who drives all over California. He usually drives in traffic and this unit has made his drive so much easier since it changes the route automatically. When he is out of town he uses the restaurant and hotel guide. He is not a techie and the unit is so easy to use for him. Anyone can use it. Absolutely love it."

"I received the Garmin Nuvi 205W as a Christmas gift from my wife. I am an electronics junkie and this is awesome. Its really easy to use, just take it out of the box, plug in the car adapter for some power, and answer a few easy questions right on the touch screen. The Garmin does its thing and off we go. I went to the local grocery store and then returned home, just so I could use it. It talked me right back to my driveway. This product is a great gift or just great for peace of mind that I will truly never be lost (never was anyway). Thanks QVC."
