"I must have gotten this item 3 to 4years ago and it has worked perfectly for me in fact trying to get it back from my daughter who borrowed it last year and has not returned it to me. Perhaps I will have to purchase another. Also surprise at the low review score this has been a winner for me!!!"

"This shredder worked fine when we first received it, but it has not held up well. As mentioned in another review, it keeps getting jammed up, even though we are careful not to put too much paper through at a time. And, it does not handle credit cards well at all. The most frustrating part is that it hates receipt paper. I don't know what it is about the thermal paper, but that's the worst offender when it comes to getting jammed up. I give a fair rating only because the size is convenient."

"I have had this shredder for some time. I use it in the kitchen to reduce unnessary steps to eliminate unwanted mail. Mail comes in, I shred and out it goes. In the beginning, the on button did not wiork properly. It does not stop automatically. I need to turn it off manually. I did not return it because, I like the size of the shredder and other than having to turn it off manually after each use, I have enjoyed this product."

"Some of the negative reviews surprised me also. I have had this for 3 years and have gotten good use out of it in my home office. It is easy to use, has had no problems with maintenance and has a nice look. And the size is just right. I would not recommend it for a business which is doing a lot of shredding, but it is perfect for anyone wanting to protect their identity by shredding papers with account information."

"I have had this shredder for quite some time. The openening is very small and it certainly does not do what a heavier model would. If you can live with the limitations, then you should be happy with it. The price is right and the pencil sharpener is convenient and does a nice job."

"I'm very surprised to see the previous review. I've had this shredder for going on 3 years and use it every day for my mail etc. A friend of mine purchased one also and loves it. I think it's perfect for up to 3 pages at a time, shredding credit cards one at a time and every day small stuff. It's a perfect size and I keep it on my desk. If you're doing heavy shredding then you probably need a larger heavy duty one. For my uses, It's PERFECT!"

"I have had nothing but problems with this shredder. It jams constantly! If I had known this I would have spent more money on a better one. I can't even shred my bills. They get stuck all the time."
